Statement of Purpose
AAFCD exists to:
- Educate national public policy-makers and
and the broader community about the needs
of families of children with a disability.
- Advocate on behalf of children with a
disability and their families to ensure the
best possible support and services are
available from government and the
community.
- Inform families of children with a disability
about their rights and entitlements to
services and support.
- Celebrate the successes and achievements
of children with a disability and their
families.
